At Anaheim & Brea Hearing Center, we offer people with hearing loss the freedom to live their lives to the fullest by helping them choose individual hearing solutions for staying actively connected to life. We will deliver these services with integrity, kindness, congeniality, and expertise.
The importance of hearing health for overall wellness cannot be overstated — we want to help everyone we reach to hear as well as possible.
A talk with Julie Ball, audiologist and owner of Anaheim & Brea Hearing Center:
I do what I do for the people-to-people connection. Me to my patients – and more importantly – my patients to their loved ones.
I love to help people feel good about themselves – to help them reconnect with life around them and stay involved with the people that matter most to them.
I don’t want hearing loss to be an excuse that causes people to withdraw from activities they’ve enjoyed. Instead, it’s great to see them energized when telling stories of how they’ve rediscovered listening to Sinatra croon, swing dancing, playing cards with friends, going out to eat, hearing the minister and participating in the fellowship time after worship services, listening to the TV with less volume and more clarity, participating in family gatherings, understanding grandchildren, and being swept up in the sounds of nature – like hearing the birds again.
When those stories are done, I smile as they tell me of hearing the seemingly insignificant sounds around them – the hum of a motor, the whir of a fan, the tick of a car’s blinker, the ice in a cup, the tapping of shoes, the sliding of slippers on carpets. I’m excited when people hear all the sounds of life!
The absolute best feeling of all is to hear my patient’s loved ones thank them for choosing to improve their hearing.
The people-to-people connection – it’s WHY I do what I do!
